Gregory M. Culbert, D.C., DABCO
Dr.
Culbert graduated from
Dr. Culbert started chiropractic school in the fall of 1987, graduating with
his doctorate in chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in 1991.
He worked as an associate doctor both at the Ireland Clinic of Chiropractic and
Chugach Chiropractic, each for approximately one year. He opened Northern
Chiropractic in 1993 and has been there since.
Dr. Culbert has extensive training in whiplash associated disorders, having completed
the Spine Research of San Diego’s Masters Program in 1995, 1996 and most
recently in 2010. In 1997, he attained advanced certification in motor vehicle
cervical acceleration/deceleration trauma from the Spine Research Institute of
San Diego, recertifying most recently in 2009. In both 1999 and 2005, Dr.
Culbert participated in CRASH, an automobile crash testing program performed in

In January of 1999, Dr Culbert was appointed to the Chiropractic Peer Review
Committee by the Alaska State Board. In February of 2002, Governor Tony Knowles
appointed Dr. Culbert to the Alaska State Board of Chiropractic Examiners.
Governor Frank Murkowski reappointed him in 2005. In December of 2004, Dr.
Culbert was elected president of the Alaska State Board of Chiropractic
Examiners. Dr. Culbert was also named 2004 Chiropractor of the Year by the
Alaska Chiropractic Society.
Dr. Culbert’s hobbies include snow machining at Nancy Lake, water skiing and perfecting
his golf game. Dr. Culbert has been married since 1995 and has two sons,
Alexander and Greyson.
